We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our two young children, a 3-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy, in Oakland, CA. The position involves afternoon care, beginning at 12:30 PM and typically ending around 11:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be able to provide safe and engaging activities, light meal preparation, and pick-up from school, which is within walking distance. Our home has a large, friendly dog, and the caregiver should be comfortable around pets. This is a flexible position requiring 1-2 days of care per week, with some days consisting of shorter 4-hour shifts. Consistency and reliability are important, as mom works night shifts and will be home but resting. No driving or bedtime duties are required.
