BARBACK ROLE DESCRIPTION 

San Patricios, by The Dead Rabbit Group is looking for a Barback to join our team at The Dead Rabbit ATX! Barbacks are critical partners in assisting Bartenders and Servers, ensuring they have everything necessary to create world-class Irish Pub experiences for our customers and the bar is clean, organized, and set for success. Barbacks must embody our core values of B.E.S.T.: Being Brilliant, Evolving, Service-Oriented, and Transparent, enabling our company to deliver world-class experiences. A successful candidate must exude these characteristics and competencies consistently.

BARBACK ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Embody our core values.
• Stock the bar with necessary product and service tools. 
• Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing and daily versus weekly cleaning tasks. 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bars. 
• Adherence to The Dead Rabbit Group’s team member handbook.
• Perform related duties as requested by leadership teams.
• Be a team player working with other team members when needed or required.
• Be an effective communicator post, during, and pre-shift, alerting team members to operational issues or concerns.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must have a hospitality orientation and experience in similar roles. 
• Candidates must be hungry to learn and grow. 
• Candidates must be ambitious, disciplined, and enthusiastic
• Candidates must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and carry/balance multiple items during service, including glass racks, ice buckets, and glassware.
• Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must have the requisite schedule availability.
• Candidates must be able to take constructive criticism and work within an engaged, collaborative, and accountable culture and team environment.
• Candidates must be able to stand for long periods.
