Step into a day where you own the strategy—and the outcome

You begin with your 30-60-90 plan in Salesforce, mapping out which manufacturers around Dayton you’ll visit. Before heading out, you huddle with our seasoned technical team to shape a winning concept for a prospect’s machining challenge. In the afternoon, you’re on-site translating complex CNC needs into practical, value-rich solutions—then back to assess margin, pipeline health, and next steps. You’re empowered to decide how to grow your territory, and your compensation scales directly with the results you create.

Your territory will be centered on the Dayton area, with the final footprint tailored to your skills, experience, business needs, and geographic preferences.

What you’ll drive

• Source and develop new CNC and capital equipment projects
• Own deal profitability and manage margins responsibly
• Grow revenue by expanding new accounts while safeguarding future business with existing customers
• Keep an up-to-date 30-60-90 forecast electronically
• Apply and complete Ellison Technologies’ sales training program
• Use Salesforce to document activity and maintain accurate client data on time

What makes you effective

• Proven territorial B2B sales success, ideally with machine cutting tools
• Or hands-on experience in tooling, fixturing, or CNC programming and a desire to move into outside sales
• A hunter’s mindset—opening doors, teaching prospects about their operations, and delivering creative, value-added solutions
• Curiosity and drive to master sophisticated manufacturing technology
