Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with the Electronic Maintenance Divisions’ (EMD) Telecommunication Field Operations. The incumbent will design, schedule and conduct technical training on various telecommunication and data network systems that operate throughout NYCT. Responsibilities will also include creating procedures for Preventive and Remedial Maintenance, updating shared drive content, conducting employee evaluations, providing support for existing telecommunication systems, Public Address systems, Fire Alarm and Emergency Alarm Systems, in house contracts, Capital Contracts and other Telecommunication Field Operation assets in current and future states; supervise in-house installations, provide storeroom oversight; purchase materials and equipment and provide supervisory oversight of Level I Supervisors to ensure safe and efficient 24X7 operations.
