Attention all current and aspiring Office Technicians!  Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a lot of variety in your work? The Office Technician (T)-Timekeeper accurately records, updates, and maintains the custody staff attendance and pay; runs FLSA calculations; generates various reports; enters weekly auto posting; archives files; answers telephone inquiries, and assists employees at the reception window.

Must possess the ability to perform clerical work, including ability to spell correctly; make arithmetical computations; operate various office machines; follow oral and written directions; evaluate situations accurately and take effective action; read and write English at a level required for successful job performance.

Working Conditions

This position is located at the California State Prison in Corcoran CA, which is accessibly located right off Highway 43. Conveniently located one hour from Lemoore Naval Air Station, two hours from Yosemite National Park and Pismo Beach.

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by departmental annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter .
