LaSalle Network has partnered with a digital marketing agency in their search a Paid Search contractor.

This role will own the strategy and execution of lower-funnel paid search campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Google Performance Max, conversion-driven search, and ROI-focused optimization.
You will work closely with internal strategy, analytics, and client teams to drive measurable business outcomes across a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves performance marketing, testing, and continuously improving results.

This is a three-month contract (full time hours, M-F) with the potential to extend or even convert for the right person.

While the role can be done mostly remotely, the ideal candidate will sit in the Chicagoland area with the ability to be onsite if needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Own end-to-end paid search strategy and execution across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with a heavy focus on lower-funnel and conversion-driven campaigns

• Build, manage, and optimize Performance Max campaigns, including asset strategy, audience signals, and feed-based initiatives

• Develop and optimize search, shopping, and remarketing campaigns to drive revenue, leads, and efficiency

• Analyze performance trends and make data-driven recommendations

• Partner closely with analytics teams to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting

• Conduct ongoing testing across keywords, creative, landing pages, and bidding strategies

• Prepare clear, insightful performance reporting and present results to internal stakeholders and clients

• Stay current on Google Ads platform updates and best practices, especially around automation and AI-driven solutions

What You Have: 

• 2+ years of hands-on paid search experience in an agency environment

• Proven experience managing lower-funnel paid search campaigns with a performance mindset

• Strong working knowledge of Google Performance Max

• Experience with conversion tracking, attribution models, and performance measurement

• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

• Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with both internal teams and clients

• Experience testing and implementing automated bidding and AI-driven optimizations is a HUGE plus!

This position pays $40/hr-$45/hr based on years of experience and as a consultant of LaSalle Network, you are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
