1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm) @ $18.50

2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) @ $20.00

Job Title: Stand up Forklift Operator

Job Description

Ensure safe and accurate picking of outbound orders using an RF scan gun. You will be accountable for executing order picking accurately and delivering to the pack cell in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for training existing and new employees on these processes.

Responsibilities

• Pick correct products by verifying material picked matches the provided documents.
• Operate mobile equipment safely with a preference for stand-up forklift experience.
• Check the quality of products and report findings to the Packer, Lead, or Supervisor.
• Use an RF gun to scan out Transfer Orders accurately to maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain organization and good housekeeping.
• Hit target order counts and complete workload in a timely manner.

Skills

• Experience in production, packing, forklift operation, material handling, RF scanner use, and stand-up forklift operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading and math skills with the ability to follow directions.
• Ability to exercise independent initiative and judgement in work methods.
• Capability to lead by example, gain respect from a team, and communicate clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-organized worker with a team player attitude.
• Ability to be on feet all day, bending and lifting.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Must comply with the company's PPE policy and have own Steel Toe Boots or Composite Shoes.

The facility is a 490,000 square foot space separating production and distribution areas. Expect hot conditions in the summer and cold in the winter

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Egg Harbor City, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
