Position Overview Global Guardian's Asset Security Division is seeking an enthusiastic individual for the
Security Operations Center Monitoring Operator role to join our fast-paced Charlotte, NC office. The Monitoring Operator will cross train in Video Monitoring, Intrusion Detection, and False Alarms (FA). We are looking for a team member who is extremely efficient and wants to grow with us.
This is an entry-level position located in-person in Charlotte, NC. Job Responsibilities - Function as a point of contact for monitoring assets and performing security protocols
- Respond to events and alarms through Video Monitoring, Intrusion Detection, and False Alarms (FA)
- Act on security alerts, including dispatch of local authorities when necessary
- Able to handle life-saving situations utilizing event driven Artificial Intelligence
- Conduct online site guard tours and immediate response to panic alarms
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to, site protocols
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents and prepare incident reports for any events
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience / Requirements - Entry-level position
- 0-3 years' experience in the security industry preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and a strong work ethic
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other corporate team members and operational team members
Position Type and Schedule
- Full-Time (FT), hourly, non-exempt position
- Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour
- The Asset Monitoring Center runs 24/7
- Hiring for 2nd shift (middle) and 3rd shift (night) - open availability needed
