Responsibilities

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide specialized post-operative care for patients recovering from anesthesia. The ideal candidate will monitor patient conditions, manage pain, and ensure a smooth transition from the operating room to full consciousness and stability.

Qualifications

  • Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients for signs of complications
  • Administer pain management medications and IV therapy as needed
  • Ensure airway patency and oxygenation in recovering patients
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient recovery progress
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
